Summer break from school provides an opportunity for our "VolunTeen" Program. The program is open to young persons ages 14 to 18 who would like to provide volunteer work at the hospital.

A parent orientation and a VolunTeen orientation are a part of the training program. VolunTeens are also provided with CPR classes to become certified prior to beginning work.

VolunTeens may work as little as 4 hours per week.

Exposure to the clinical surrounding and the health care atmosphere can help a young person make choices later about education and careers.
